Ibn al-Majishun, the direct student of al-Imam Malik, said:
“When a non-Muslim under protection of an Islamic state [Dhimmi] or a non-Muslim whose military is at war with Muslims [Harbi] asks you to teach him the Quran, then do not do so because he is Khabeeth [filthy] and “Truly the polytheists are impure”. There is no harm in reciting the Quran at non-Muslims and to use it as an argument against them just as Allah AWJ said…”
