“And al-Jihād is a clear obligation whose denier is declared a Disbeliever. Its obligation is established by the Book, the Sunnah and consensus of the ‘Ummah.
As for the Book, then there is His statement, exalted is He:
{Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day}[at-Tawbah:29]
-and other verses regarding the command to fight the Disbelievers.
The Sunnah says: “I was commanded to fight the people until they say “There is no god except Allah”.” The Prophet SAWS also said: “Al-Jihād is an obligation from the time Allah, exalted is He, sent me until the Day of Resurrection- until a group from my ‘Ummah fights the Dajjāl.”
The ‘Ummah has consensus on it.”
