Title of Thabat: Al-`I’tizāz bi-Dhikri man Laqītu wa Sami’tu wa Man ‘Ajāza lil-Sayyid Nabīl bin Hāshim al-Ghamrī
The Thabat of Shaykh Nabīl al-Ghamrī has yet to be completed though he granted Abū Najm Fernando Ijāzah for the Thabat in an inscription on the cover page to the book ‘Anshāb al-Kuthub fī ‘Ansāb il- Kutub. ‘Anshāb al-Kuthub is the Thabat of Jalāl ad-Dīn as-Suyūṭī which Shaykh Nabīl gave Abu Najm Fernando Ijāzah for as well.
The Thabat of Jalāl ad-Dīn as-Suyūṭī contains 2,819 books for which Jalāl ad-Dīn provides chains of transmission beginning with Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī. Jalāl ad-Dīn mentions all the books from the same author for which he has Ijāzah after mentioning the primary text of the scholar. For example, after mentioning his chains of transmission for Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Jalāl ad-Dīn then mentions his chains of transmission for al-‘Adab al-Mufrad, then Birr al-Wāladayn, Raf` al-Yadayn fīṣ-Ṣalāh, al-Qira’at Khalf il- ‘Imām, at-Tārīkh aṣ-Ṣaghīr, aḍ-Ḍu`afā’, Khalq ‘Af`āl il-`Ibād and other books by al-Bukhārī.
