Title of Thabat:‘Imdād al-Fattāḥ, 1 volume, 688 pages
A separate document contains a general Ijāzah from Shaykh Salmān to Abū Najm Fernando as well as Ijāzah for the Thabat of his father, Shaykh Abd al-Fattāḥ Abu Ghuddah in an inscription on the cover page of the book al-Awā’il as-Sunbuliyyah [see attached images].
Part 1- A list of 17 contemporary scholars who praised the compilation of the Thabat itself.
Part 2 “Madkhal” which provides a small biography for Shaykh Abd ul-Fattāḥ Abū Ghuddah, his writings and commentaries on Islamic texts, and mention of some who studied under him.
Part 3- A chapter with 4 separate sections as well, namely a list of Shuyūkh organized according to region/city; Ḥadīth Musalsal bil-‘Awwaliyyah; chains of transmission for some of the narrators to their Shuyūkh; chains of transmission for the 10 books of Ḥadīth.
Part 4- The Athbāt that the Shaykh has and he lists them according to the number of narrators to the authors of the Athbāt, beginning with the first order- the Thabat he took directly from each author and ending with those Athbāt in which there are 4 or more people between him and the author.
