This command works both ways. As long as a person speak and acts upon Islam then no one can strip them of their Islam. When a person’s words or actions come to differ with regards to Islam and its mandates, then this person is at the very least a Hypocrite and, depending on the words or actions, can exit the religion altogether.

So ECOWAS, the self-appointed west African organization that is backed by the West, is vehemently opposed to ‘the repartitioning of Mali’ and ‘negotiating with terrorists’. What they’re really saying is that they are opposed to an Islamic state in the lands they claim to administer.

What ECOWAS and the rest of the western-backed, funded, installed, or supported organizations and regimes in Muslim territories need to understand is that Muslims will never, and I mean NEVER, stop struggling to establish Islam as a means of civil, religious, social, political and governmental authority.

Muslims may disagree on the method of achieving this authority, however no one who considers themselves as Muslim and actually qualifies by affirming Allah’s rights in the land, will ever disagree on the fact that Islamic authority must be achieved.

Mali’s current president was whisked out of the country for being attacked with shoes in his own palace by people who don’t even support Azawad or the Islamic state, yet we’re supposed to believe that somehow they’re going to get it together and oust Ansar e Dine and the MNLA from the north?

Make Du’a that the Islamic state in the north of Mali is successful, like every other attempt at Shari’ah currently.
